Shorts V. 1, 2 and 3 have double elastic waistline casing, and leg edges encased in braid. Tank tops V.1 and 2 have neck and armhole edges encased in braid and optional front pocket. Top V. 3 has neck and armhole bands of shorts fabric and short contrasting set-in sleeves. Romper V. 4 has neck and armhole edges encased in braid, elastic casings at waistline and leg edges, tie belt and optional snap fastened crotch. All garments have optional embroidered or hand painted design.

Fabrics: Pattern is sized for stretch knits only. Not suitable for bonded knits. Cotton or synthetic knits, jersey, stretch terry.

Envelope: Creasing, light tattering.

B has short sleeves. B and C have contrast mock front vest with button trim and back ties. B has contrast skirt band and appliques for mock vest cut from novelty printed lengthwise striped fabric. Purse has buttoned flap and shoulder strap.

Suggested fabrics: Apple Tree fabrics by Fabric Traditions: cotton and cotton blends, flannel, gingham, laundered cottons, baby cord, broadcloth, chambray. Skirt band B in novelty printed lengthwise striped fabric with 4 stripe repeat.
