Suggested fabrics: Top and pants A, B: cotton, broadcloth, cotton blends, pique, challis, chintz, seersucker. Pants A also in denim, chino, synthetic double knits, lightweight wool.

Envelope: Light wear, with creasing, small tears, light tattering

Condition: Partially cut (7 pieces cut, 3 uncut) and complete
Year: 1970

Dress with back zipper and high round neckline has skirt gathered to bodice above normal waistline. V 1 with elbow length sleeves gathered to armhole and at lower edge with elastic casing has embroidered braid or ribbon, rick-rack and lace edging trim. V 2 with short set-in sleeves gathered at armholes has bias roll collar and ribbon tie belt. Sleeveless V 3 has embroidered eyelet edging, ribbon tie belt and contrasting skirt and pockets.

Fabrics: View 1 and 3 in gingham, dotted swiss, printed voile, canvas, hopsacking, homespun, broadcloth, challis, pique, linen. View 2 in embroidered border fabric. View 1 also in double knit, polyester knit.

Envelope: Extensive wear - there are tears, tattering, and age discoloration and soiling.

Size 2: Chest: 21", Waist 20", Back-neck to waist 8 1/2", no hip measurement indicated.
Finished back length of dress: 18", Width of lower edge of dress: 48"

V. 1 or 2 top with yoke and sleeves has back zipper and may be worn with or without self tie belt. V. 1 has braid trim. Braid trimmed pants V. 1 or skirt V. 2 have back zipper and elastic waistline casing.

Suggested fabrics: Cotton types: broadcloth, challis. Silk types: crepe, crepe de chine, shantung, pongee. Lightweight knit.

Envelope: Tattering, some small tears, creasing

• Year: 1976

Pants and skirt have back zipper, waistband. Top-stitched vest is lined with "V" neckline and shaped lower edge, front button closing. Top-stitched jacket has princess seaming, front button closing, notched collar, patch pockets and long set-in sleeves.

Fabrics: linen, poplin, denim, chino, homespun, chambray, tweed, duck, flannel, gabardine, lightweight wool, double knit.

Envelope: Some wear, mostly creasing with light tattering. Back flap partially missing.
